Monday Marvel

Happy Monday friends! What a glorious Monday it is. Happy to be alive and well after surviving my first official hurricane along the Cape Fear Coast. It was quite a ride, but my friends, Marine and I made it through...with the help of a few games, good wine and my goofy pup, Jameson.

For today's { Monday Marvel } I have a special treat that was sent my way by my sister, { misa*me photo }. My sister will be getting married this December, I've mentioned once or twice before. On her hunt for videographers, she came across { Birdhouse Productions }. Natalie and Mark are the brains behind this fantastically creative operation.

The following video is beyond anything I've ever seen. It's like a style shoot for videographers. How beautiful is this?

Monday Marvel

Hello dolls! Yes, it's really me. I'm back from vacation and feeling better than ever! Quite refreshed actually. Did everyone have a great week?

I'm starting off this week with today's {Monday Marvel} featuring a little Martha Stewart fun. Who would have thought you could do so much with tissue paper? Believe it or not, these fancy fun items are all crafted with this inexpensive and delicate paper. True story!

Vacation

Ta ta darlings! I'm off on dazzling vacation in the Outer Banks. Off to bask in the sun, frolick on the beach, and celebrate my birthday. I'll be back in a week or so, I shall miss you all oh so very much!

Bonjour! Hello my dears. Today's { Tuesday Shoesday } comes from a little place called { Pour la Victoire }. And let me tell you, you'll be in shoe heaven after this little post. 

I originally became mesmerized by a shoe they introduced back in 2010, the Divia by Pour La Victoire.

Yum...

So I decided to take a peek at what they have in store this season, and what they have is pure goodness. 

Can you tell I like bows? I can't help it, I just adore them. Now, their collection of beautiful and eccentric shoes is sure to set your look apart from any other, but to me, these do it in a more subtle, yet just enough, way. This { Evelia } style is a beautiful shoe, and I will bet money it's super comfortable. Just right for dancing the night away.

I never thought I would see the day where I would flip the pages of magazine, oh just browsing through, and ta-da! My designs. Kym at { DIY Weddings Magazine }, took a chance on me and decided to give me a shot a designing my own feature in the magazine. Shocked doesn't quite cover how I felt when I realized I would be having my own two-page spread in the one hundred and twenty something magazine.

So here it is! The Summer Issue of DIY Weddings Magazine. It arrived on my doorstep but a few days ago and I was filled with glee to hold it in my hands and see it for the first time. Me. Published. Who knew?

Tuesday Shoesday

After but a few clicks, it didn't take me long to find this week's trendy shoe for { Tuesday Shoesday }. After scouring the "Wedding Shop" of...ready for it...DSW, I found this fashionably delicious Betsey Johnson Walford Bootie. This ruched fabric peep toe pump comes in a beautiful blush pink and black. And on top of that, three shimmering jewels.

This ultra stylish shoe is great for making a statement and personally, great if the bride isn't too afraid get a little swanky!
