Wedding Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! We're but a few days away from the big 4th of July holiday and I'm still in 'patriotic mode'! I couldn't help but find my absolute favorite military wedding photographs and share them with all of you. Saved in a little folder tucked away, any picture I find that I don't want to forget, know I'll need some day for inspiration, or just plain beautiful...that's where they go. And boy, these images are just so darn pretty to look at.

So out of the archives come a few of my absolute favorite military wedding photographs. *Please note: Even though I'm pretty partial to the US Marine Corps, I threw a little extras in there too. :)

Lucky me, I'll be attending a military wedding next weekend in Annapolis! Oh I do love them so. And even my boyfriend will be partaking in the ceremony. Well, a little military tradition that is. He will be proudly standing in the sword arch, ready to do some toosh tapping. If you're wondering what I'm talking about, check out { Something Navy } and find out!

Looking forward to the joyous occasion, I can not wait!

Tuesday Shoesday

Well of course I'm going to get all patriotic on you!

This upcoming holiday weekend has sparked tons of patriotic inspiration so it's only necessary to just throw as much red, white and blue into this week as I possibly can.

Starting with my favorite day of the week, Tuesday Shoesday!

Chi-Town Flats, $37.99

These little cuties are from { ModCloth.com }, one of my favorites. I just get enough nautical. Blue and white stripes, anchors, I really do love it all. Can't let go of the prep inside, and she seems to be coming out quite often these days. I'm okay with that!

Hello weekend!

Hello weekend, goodbye Wilmington!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Coral Fever

Well, the hunt is still on for the yellow shoes! I haven't found exact what I want and hey, I learned never to settle. Even with shoes. So I know you're out there pretties, I just haven't found you yet. In the mean time, I did snag this adorable pair of bow flip flops for only $12.99. Win! Thanks Marshalls.

Now, on to other things like my new color obsession: Coral. It's taken over my wardrobe, even my toes! This hot summer color is just poppin' and I'm pretty sure it could show up in my future wedding. Yes, I said it. It's a great color to make your tanned skin show and there are so many shades, and wonderful nude tones to accent it with. I just love it! Check out these pieces.

{ Tuesday Shoesday }

First and foremost, happy first official day of summer! Even though every day has felt like summer around here, it's nice to finally shout out loud "Ahh...it's summer time baby!" Now, on to { Tuesday Shoesday }.

Lately, I've been on a mission to find vibrant summer colors that pop. Quickly becoming addicted to the bold hot colors for summer! Then, I spotted an adorable pair of yellow peep toes on the street and decided I had to have a pair too. But then I realized there were too many options for just one pair of yellow shoes, how can I choose just one? Help!

1. BP. 'Valetine' Sandal
2. Dorothy Perkins Yellow Peeptoe
3. Steve Madden Veno Wedge Sandal
4. Croner by ALDO

Decisions, decisions...which one should I choose?

Vacation

Friday! There you are, oh how I've missed you. I thought you'd never come.

It's finally the weekend (well, in a few hours anyway) and I wanted to give you a fun send off. While I was off rebooting for a few days, I of course had to snag some photos. Our vacation location was Folly Beach, South Carolina with a few visits to Charleston. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days of rest. Laying on the beach, exploring the city, discovering new beers...it was certainly a wonderful vacation.

Do you have any upcoming vacation plans?

Monday Marvel

Good afternoon my pretties!

I am officially back from vacation and ready to roll. Well, a slow roll, but ready to roll. Trying to turn on 'work mode' and hit the snooze button on 'vacation mode' isn't so easy. But on the bright side, I have so much to blog about, oh just you wait! Folly Beach, Charleston, Josh Groban! Oh, and of course some design goodies as well.

Starting the week off with today's wonderful { Monday Marvel } are designs from { Smitten Owl } Wedding Invitations, Stationery, and Custom Letterpress. Eeps! Their designs are more than delightful, and I'm going to share my absolute favorite: The Preppy Pineapple.

My preppy side can't help but adore this invitation. And how about that kelly green? Love. A few details about this wedding collection:

"Smitten Owl's 'Preppy Pineapple' suite is a gorgeous, sophisticated design, By using three classic fonts, a pineapple monogram and soft rounded corners we created a distinctly elegant look. We chose the pineapple as a symbol of 'welcome' and accented with beautiful flourishes. The pineapple and flourish design was also used to create the pattern for the envelope liners. The 'Preppy Pineapple' letterpress wedding invitation collection is perfect for any couple planning a classy, stylish affair." { Smitten Owl: Preppy Pineapple }
