Wedding Wednesday

Enough with this gloom and doom weather already! I've had enough. It's almost enough to ruin my around the clock chipper mood and I won't let that happen.

Today I have found some perfect photographs to cheer up your day. After recently discovering North Carolina photographer { Cynkain Photography }, I've been oogling over her blog non stop. Recently photographing what could be one of the most perfect blond brides I've ever seen, seeing the sunshine in these photos will be sure to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

This is but a tease. To see the entire photo shoot, you will have to

Enjoy the rest of your afternoon & have a wonderful Wednesday!

{ Tuesday Shoesday }

All about the shoes baby, it's all about the shoes. A man, this girl did it right. Not only does she have a stellar pair of glittering pumps, but she threw in a little something extra. Preparing for possible inclement weather, this bride thought ahead. Rain boots for the possibility of cloudy with a chance of love! Corny, alright, moving on!

I give you, le shoes. Sparkling, dazzling, glittering shoes. And I am totally loving incorporating the rings with the heel. Pure awesomeness.

And how about the boots? Adorable right. The color totally pops and gives this bride's wardrobe a little pizazz!

I know you want to see more of this winter wonderland city chic wedding. Yes, I know you do. So I shall give credit where credit is due, and shift you over to the wonderful skills of { Ryan Jensen Photography } and you'll be on your way to wedding shoe bliss. And dress bliss. And venue bliss. Okay, you get it.

{ Tuesday Shoesday }

I'm determined to be a bride who can pull these off. I'm tucking these { Badgley Mischka's } away for my wedding day, whenever that may be. Shoes make a statement. These scream 'Hello, I have arrived. Look at me!' and I love it. Actually, I can't decide on just one pair...there are too many.

Either way, check out these puppies...

Stay tuned for tomorrow's { Wedding Wednesday } friends...

{ Monday Marvel }

A while back, I fell in love with the all around gloriousness that is Ala. This girl straight up rocks. It doesn't surprise me that one of her remarkable photo shoots would end up in my super awesome { Monday Marvel } spots.

I can't get enough of these photos...this couple is just totally and completely in love and I want more. Plus I'm jealous of the frolicking on the beach and ferris wheel riding, while I look out my office window seeing gloom and doom. Also known as rain clouds...

But when I see these, I forget those rain clouds and smile.

 My favorite.

Ala dear, you have outdone yourself. Totally magical.

{ DIY }

Instead of the usual { Wedding Wednesday } I have a little something up my sleeve today! As a special mid week treat, today is a DIY day!

I'm a big Pinterest fan. I could spend all day ooing and awing over the goodies people find online. Dresses, posters, hats, hairstyles, things for the home, you name it, you are bound to find something you love. But a few weeks ago, I came across this adorable idea for the home. A blogger by the name of { Purl Bee } created what she calls "swatch portraits" to decorate a little space in her home.

Adorable, right?

I immediately wanted to test out this new project in my apartment! Our sun room is looking pretty drab lately, and I haven't paid much attention to it. Unsure about what to exactly do with the room, once I saw these swatch portraits, it hit me.

As you can see, the original swatches were made with fabric, but I decided to put my own spin and rock a 'cheaper' version of these hoops. Scrapbook paper! Being the Maxxinista that I am, I had discovered a 24 pack of scrapbook paper for $5.99. Themed paper with adorable patterns and colors galore. I was so giddy about my find, I bought two! Using the patterned cardstock, embroidery hoops bought at AC Moore for $1.49, a $.99 xacto knife, and some Sobo Premium craft glue, I was on my way to creating wall art for the home.

And there you have it!

I'm quite pleased with myself. In fact, this has inspired me to do yet another project! My sun room is well on it's way to becoming my own personal DIY project, and I kind of like it!

Posting soon!

{ Leavin' On a Jet Plane }

But I do know when I'll be back again! That's right everyone, I'm jet setting for The Big Easy! Off to New Orleans for a business conference with my company. The blog and designing will be on hold for just a but, but I'll be back in action come Monday morning.

Enjoy the rest of your week and have a wonderful weekend!

{ Monday Marvel }

Oh, patience, darlings...patience.

I am officially back in the office after two glorious weeks of vacation. Yes, two weeks. I know. Spoiled. I know I haven't been awesome at the blogging lately, but don't worry, I'll have lots of pretty things for you to look at this week.

Over the past two weeks, although I haven't been glued to my desk working like a madwoman, I still love to oogle over blogs in my spare time. Now that January is here, it's about that time for photographers, designers, bloggers, etc. to show off their favorites of 2010! This one is by far, my favorite.

I adore { Junebug Weddings } and their fabulous inspirational resources. This awesome group of wedding photographers is top notch in my opinion. So when their Best of the Best 2010 Wedding Photographs, came around, I knew it would be something great. And boy, did it give me chills!

So here it is folks, your { Monday Marvel } (yes, you will totally marvel...) an awesome year end review of gorgeous wedding photography.

Enjoy the rest of your Monday!
