{ Monday Marvel }

Oh, Martha, you have done it again. You and your cute, crafty, creative ideas!

Ever find you have the perfect flirty casual outfit for summer, but those shoes don't quite match that shade of pink? Well, here is a unique and easy solution. Dye!

For this week's { Monday Marvel } I have a nifty idea for you readers. Even the boys! For a casual look, you can complete your summer outfit with fun canvas shoes in any color you please.

Martha explains...

'Canvas sneakers are comfy and cool, but you may not find them in colors you want. Put a spring in your step by setting the shade yourself. With fabric dye, its a cinch to match them to your wardrobe or your mood.'

Here are the necessary Tools and Materials...

Large basin or bucket
Liquid fabric dye
Salt (if needed; check dye directions)
White canvas sneakers, laces removed
Dyed Sneakers How-To

1. Fill basin with hot water. Add dye, and salt if specified, to water, following manufacturer's instructions for sink or bucket dyeing.
2. Wet sneakers with hot water, and place in dye bath.
3. Stir for amount of time stated on dye bottle. Rinse as directed.
4. Air-dry shoes, or place in dryer.
5. Clean basin immediately to avoid staining.
That Ms. Stewart, always so clever. I might be trying this idea out in the near future, I'll let you know how it goes.

{ Wedding Program }

Happy Friday everyone!

After a chaotic week, I have one yet exciting post for you!

After having the opportunity to work with my old schoolmate, Katherine Sanford, I was soon introduced to her wonderful sister, Patty! Patty Sanford was in need of a wedding program for her upcoming special day. I jumped at the opportunity. She decided on a Square Booklet for her program design, and I used her website and invitations for inspiration.

I had a wonderful time designing my first official wedding program, and hopefully it won't be my last! : hint hint :

Have a wonderful weekend! I'll be off enjoying the sun and the sand.
